I usually wear a medium in bottoms, but the top is always a problem.It seems to me like the only bathing suits (that are cute) that are available are for smaller busted girls. What is the best bathing suit for a 14 year old girl?
I don't want my breasts to show and I don't want to keep having to pull the straps up to keep it from showing, I have an average size body(normal for a 14 year old teen) I don't really want bra cups in them, do most 14 year olds wear swim suits with them?

If you really don't want to wax/shave, then try getting a bikini with boyshorts as the bottom. These look cute, but don't go so close to the pubic area as regular bathing suits, so they can hide hairs!

Ok I'm 14 and I'm not gonna say I'm chubby becuase I'm fat. I am about 140 and it's all in my stomache. My teribly excited 6 month old girl gets the entire bathroom wet when bathing?
how can I relax her? when she lays on her back she lifts her arms and legs up, and drops them and does that 3 times in one second through her entire bath. I only have about an inch of water in the tub.

I just go about washing him up while he is splashing. of course i only take a bath with him when my husband is home that way i dont stand up in the tub with him in my arms, could be slippery, i don't take that chance. it's a lot of fun to take a bath with him. of course when he gets older i wont be in the tub with him any more. lol. oh and i also coat the floor in towel around the tub. they can easily be hung to dry.

You might need to create a more exciting bath time to entertain her, An idea that comes to mind is something I use to do with my younger brother when he was 2 and I was watching him. It was hot and he needed a bath SO we got our bathing suits on and played beach. It sounds crazy but it really got him excited about bath time which he was not a very happy person about. I would lay towls down in the living room onthe floor as if sun bathing we would pretend to swim in the tub or go under water and then I always had lots of bubbles and it was just a wash cloth with a sea animal on it that was attacking him... which I was washing his arms legs and stuff but I told him it was eatting his legs and such...
Walmart sells this thing lke a flexi cup. It has a soft flexible plastic side to the hard plastic cup so you can push it to the childs head and it forms so the water falls back not in the face.. might help so you dont have to lay her down to wash her hair.. GLmake up tips

Okay, so, yeah I have kinda narrow shoulders, smallish bust, and then my stomach is a tad curvish but it's not bad at all. I have some love handles, then a big butt and thunder thighs! haha....I also have narrow calves. Kinda wierd proportions.
I need a suit from PacSun, Aeropostale, JcPenney, Macy's, Wet Seal, or American Eagle. Sorry but those are the only places where I can get the suit from, I can't order them from some foreign store right now.

Get a great one piece with a high cut or a tankini. Purchase a sarong and wedges instead of flat shoes to elongate your look. Find a suit that draws the eye up with some type of detail or find those cheap shell necklaces that can get wet and because of the chlorine.
Some people will tell you to find a suit with a skirt. You can find some great cover ups that are stretchy skirts over a suit. There is absolutely no way to select a suit unless you try them all on. Take an honest friend. I have tried on 50 suits in different stores before I found the right one for me. Make a day of it.

I'm going on a vacation this summer with my parents. I went shopping with my mum and my cousin, and they really want me to wear a bikini. The thing is, I'm too embarrassed to wear one. I'm not overweight, I just feel very uncomfortable because I'm showing too much skin (it feels as if I'm in my underwear) I told them that I want to wear a one piece, but they said that that'd be stupid and I'm too old to wear one. Talk to your pediatrician. At that age, there is nothing sexual about taking baths or seeing their sibling naked. Children learn through play and they will benefit by learning how to positively interact with each other, share toys, feel the physical properties of being in the water, and have good hygiene.

my kids arent twins but are close in age (16 months between my oldest girl and my boy ......14 months between him and my second daughter) my oldest 2 bathed together till she was about 3 1/2......then he bathed with his baby sister till he was 4....i stopped it when they started asking about the different body parts....if they like to play together in the tub do what i did once i seperated them.....i bathed them individually but i put swimsuits on them and let them play in the tub together....they still do it now. i have a garden tub so i put a couple inches of water in it ....at their age its like an indoor pool.
i think it is still okay to bath them together, but i would'nt be doing it after they reach the age of 4 (pre school or school age) .
For now its fine until they start to get more curious. Then its time to stop but explain to them why you won't let them bath together not details just that there different.

i'd say something bright bc it makes you look a little bigger. stripes going up and down make you look taller but it may not be as cute... and boy shorts should make your butt look bigger, and if you get a pad in the top it may make your chest look bigger! i'd go shopping on a day you feel good and think you look your best bc then you'll be more confident in finding something... hope that makes sense...lol =) * remember to be confortable w/ your body and everyone else will too *Bathing suit for skinny girl?

Seems that most of the bases are already covered. However, some local stores are not everywhere. Do you have a TJ Max. They carry name brands, less expensively. Try finding best quality, least expensive in better department stores. Probably last all summer and longer.

DONT get her a one piece. They will make her look smaller yet. I am also small on top and I find if I get two pieces that are a halter hop and have slight padding, i look fuller on top. DONT get her a top with strings. Often times a top with a wide band under the breasts will make a woman look fuller. ALSO........many suits have pockets on the top for removalble pads. When she feels comfortable doing it .... I know my daughter started washing her own hair from a very young age, she was less than 3, and yep ... we often had to do it again or rescue her from the ';shampoo in the eyes monster'; ... but it's all a part of growing up ... you just need to teach them to wash and rinse thouroughly and try not to ';miss'; any bits

They don't just start doing it, you have to help them along at whatever pace they can manage. Don't worry about the age, worry about the process.

The biggest deal to me is that you go back and check that she's washing her bottom well. My husband felt weird about really washing our foster daughters and allowed them to do it theirselves with his supervision, both ended up with red bottoms at one point or another. I'd rather it be done well and not have to deal with ';it hurts when I pee pee.';
Whenever they are responsible enough to turn the taps on and off. maybe 6-10. No older then 10 and no younger then 6.

I bought very cute bathing suit bottoms. When i got home I realized that there is a vaginal discharge stain on the crouch part of the bottoms. I know it is not form me because i wore underwear when trying them on... THANK GOD. But i bought them and am just asking if anybody knows a cleaning technique that will remove the stain and will DISINFECT it so it not a bacterial thing for me.

I read an article about a woman who buys vintage (read: Very used) bathing suits, dresses them up and sells them.
Here's how she dealt with similar problems: She would soak the suit's crotch in a small bowl of nonchlorine bleach for a half hour before washing. (Think Clorox 2 or similar.) It still kills everything, but doesn't remove fabric color.
To go the extra mile since she was reselling them, she would cut the white cloth layer out of the crotch (there's always a single layer of fabric in the crotch area that isn't part of the suit), and sew in a new swatch of similar fabric. That part depends on your sewing skills of course.
That is so disgusting! I would return them or throw them away. Who knows how long that stain has been there. Get rid of them and see if you can find another pair in the same size and that are not stained with someone else's body fluids.

I am soooooo sorry this happened to you! Usually there is a little adhesive strip in the crotch to help prevent it from happening. Ladies: please do not try on swim suits without your underwear!! If you're not wearing any, come back to try on when you are.
Use some bar soap, like Ivory and warm water.
I would wear disposable gloves when you do this to prevent getting anything on your hands. Then wash in your washing machine on gentle cycle and add a cup of white vinegar to the wash water. White vinegar is a disinfectant and it will not be as harsh on the fabric as bleach. You want to avoid chlorine as much as you can. It breaks down the fibers in the fabric. Avoid hot water, if possible, too. Use warm water. Hot water is the enemy of swimwear. I have ruined many a suit in hot tubs! Good luck!

A bathing suit doesn't make a guy hot or not. If a guy is good looking and has a nice body, then it doesn't matter what bathing suit they are wearing-they will be hot either way. When it comes to the abercrombie bathing suit, I'm actually not that crazy about, it's sorta boring. But I personally am not that into abercrombie wearers anyway.

Do people disrespect girls with back tattoos? Is it okay to wear a two-piece bathing suit?
Here is some of the background of my situation:
I have a back tattoo, lower back. It is not a flower, butterfly, or anything ';normal';. It says ';beautiful'; in Hungarian, because I'm Hungarian. I got it when I was 18... I'm almost 24 now.
I didn't mind it when I got it (it's rather large), but now it's starting to make me self conscious. I am not what people would stereotype as a ';tattoo person';. It is my only one. WHen I wear clothes, I try to cover it up. I don't know if people will think I'm a ';HO'; because I have it.
Anyway, I am married now, and I feel like I need to wear a one piece bathing suit to cover it up. I have done it in years past, but I just hate them. I want to wear a bikini.
Also, my family has a house in Palm Beach, Florida... a very upscale area and I feel like all of the people on the beach (when I go) are going to think I don't belong because I have this tattoo.
Am I being way too self conscious? Regretful (yes)? Please help me rationalize
